Exelon Corp To Buy NRG Energy
Exelon Corp, the largest U.S. nuclear power operator, made an unsolicited offer over the weekend to acquire NRG Energy Inc for $6.2 billion in stock.
NRG surged 26.4 percent to $24.44, while Exelon slipped 2.8 percent to $53.00.

Fulcrum Bioenergy has unveiled plans to build a renewable energy facility for converting garbage into ethanol in the USA.
Fulcrum Bioenergy is a Sierra BioFuels plant, located east of Reno at the Tahoe-Reno Industrial in Nevada, which will process around 90,000 tons of solid municipal waste to produce 10.5 million gallons of ethanol a year.
